POSSUM

A native of Australia, the southern hemispere possum is an introduced pest to NZ that destroys native wildlife, endangered birds, forests & spreads disease to livestock.  Heavy culling is required to keep possum numbers under control.  The upside, other than an environmental one, is possum fur is incredibly warm, light & soft. Blended back with Merino or Alpaca it creates a stunning luxury fibre - so save our environment & wear possum!
