Knitters are tactile people. And those tactical hands need tactile clothes.
For the kind of sweater that never goes out of style, you’ll adore the loose fit Stipple Sweater. Wear it with everything for “throw on in the morning” ease. Features all over moss stitch, drop shoulders, crop length, a loose fit and generous long sleeves for pulling over your knuckles on those cold days.
Knit with Heavy worsted / 14 ply yarn for squishy warmth and constructed from the top down for zero seaming. The sleeves are picked up and knit, then worked top down to the deep cuffs.
Suitable for Intermediate level knitters and above.
Anything goes, as long as it’s an Heavy Worsted / 14 ply weight yarn (please check gauge first).
Model wears approx 20 cm / 8” positive ease. Designed to be worn with 5-20 cm / 2-8” ease depending on your personal preference. Sizes read as A (B, C, D, E) (F, G, H, I).
Finished bust measurements: cm = 100 (110, 120, 130, 140) (150, 160, 170, 180) / inches = 40 (44, 48, 52, 56) (60, 64, 68, 72)”
Yarn Quantity: metres = 754 (838, 932, 1024, 1127) (1240, 1363, 1500, 1650) / yards = 825 (917, 1018, 1120, 1232) (1355, 1490, 1640, 1804).
Needles: 6.5 mm / US 10.5 circular needle for ribbing and 8 mm / US 11 circular needle, or size to obtain gauge. Both use a 100 cm / 40″ cord. NOTE: The sleeves are worked in the round using the magic loop method, but you could just opt to use a shorter cord with your circulars or use DPNs.
Gauge: 12 stitches and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch
